To reserve your seat for any Bachelors Degree program at the University of Ottawa Minimum Level of Education Required is Class 12th with an overall percentage of 72.0% or more and for any master’s program, the minimum requirement is 4 years bachelors degree with 70.0% marks or more.


For Bachelors & masters Program min English proficiency requirements are :

  • IELTS : 6.5 Band Overall no band less than 6.5
  • Duolingo English Test Score : 120 Overall
  • PTE : 60 Score Overall no module less than 60


The University of Ottawa operates for 5 working days per week & is closed on weekends and holidays. The total hours of study per week for a Bachelors’s degree is 22 hrs and for Masters’s degree 18 hrs per week.


To study at University one must search for the available intakes for the program you have selected, so they mainly provide you two intakes January 2022 & Sept 2022. For International applicants, Sept intake is most recommendable as this intake provides most of the variety of Programs.


The university has a huge program list once the applicant finalizes his/her program the applicant needs to pay the application fee, the University of Ottawa releases its offer letter within 20 working days for which the application will be $256 CAD (non-refundable).


The University of Ottawa has placed 145th in the world in the 2021 Times Higher Education ranking, a slight drop compared to its 141st spot the previous year. This consolidates uOttawa’s reputation as a world-class university, even though 129 institutions were added to the ranking this year.
