LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE

To process your admission application the first step is to apply for your letter of admission for the selected program for which the application fee will be $100 CAD which is non-refundable, after paying your application fee the applicant needed to wait for minimum 15 working days for the College to releases its offer letter. The rest of the steps must be followed as mentioned in your offer letter.

REFUND POLICY

All refund requests are subjected to deductions of the non-refundable portion of the tuition deposit and Administrative fee. If you’ve been denied a study permit/visa and are unable to attend Fleming College as a result, you’ll be refunded the full amount of your deposit. Where a student is found to have provided fraudulent documentation as part of their study permit/visa application, a full refund will not be issued.

So, for applying for a refund you must complete and submit an International Student Withdrawal Form. The Withdrawal Form must be filled to process your refund request further, you must submit your withdrawal request by the stipulated deadline in order to claim a fee refund.

  1. If you have received a Visa Denial, please follow these steps: Send your International Student Withdrawal Form, the Visa Denial Letter (issued by the Canadian embassy or consulate) and appropriate documents, receipt of all documentation, your withdrawal application will be processed to refund your fees paid, minus a $200 administrative charge.
  2. If you choose to withdraw from the college for any reason other than a Visa Denial, please follow these steps: The request much be sent to the college within 10 days of your semester, you must submit a completed Fleming College International Student Withdrawal Form, with the requested documentation to receive a refund of the tuition fees you paid. Your withdrawal must be approved by the Office of the Registrar upon receipt of all the appropriate documents at the Office of the Registrar, your withdrawal application will be processed to refund your fees paid, minus a $2,300 administrative charge.

REFUND POLICY OF LASALLE COLLEGE

To be considered for a refund, a student must submit a written notice of withdrawal to the College so that your request can be processed accordingly.

Any request for a refund must be made by submitting the ‘Tuition Refund Request Form’ which the college will provide and supporting documents such as a study permit rejection letter from IRCC (Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada).

The application fee is NON-REFUNDABLE

A full refund (excluding application fee) will be issued if the student’s study permit is rejected by IRCC. If a study permit application is rejected by the Canadian Immigration Authorities. A student must present the original rejection letter from IRCC with the ‘Tuition Refund Request Form’ to the school to process the request.   • 50% FEE REFUND: A student who withdraws from the program before the first day of school is eligible for a 50% of tuition refund.
  • 30% FEE REFUND: A student who withdraws from the program within 7 calendar days following the first day of school is eligible for a 30% tuition refund.
  • NO REFUND: If the LCV High School issued Letter of Acceptance is successfully used to obtain a Study Permit, but the student does not attend LCV High School.

REFUND POLICY

All international students who arrive in Canada must request a withdrawal and refund in person at St Clair College in Windsor, Ontario. This policy is in place to protect the student and the funds that have been pre-paid to the College. Written requests will not be accepted.

The following documents need to request a refund:

  • Copy of your St Clair College Letter of Acceptance
  • Copy of your Study Permit
  • Copy of your passport (photo page)
  • Copy of Letter of Admission for other designated learning institute*
  • Bank wire receipt showing payment from your home country
  • If you are going back to your home country we require a copy of your boarding pass once you have arrived home.
  • A copy of your email to your agent that you are leaving St. Clair College, and (for students from India)

Refunds are now subject to a $2500 administrative fee and will be dealt with on a case-to-case basis. If students are transferring to another institution then the student must submit a copy of their letter of admission from an approved institution along with a completed International Student Withdrawal Form within 10 business days of the beginning of the semester. The letter of admission must be for the same semester for which the student has paid tuition. A copy of the passport and valid study permit will also be required.

Canada Study Visa Filing Catagories :

  1. SDS (Study Direct Stream)
  2. Non- SDS

The basic difference between them is that if you can pay a one-year College tuition fee coupled with 10,000 CAD GIC before visa application for a study permit and provide IELTS as proof of English then you can file your application under SDS otherwise only option for you is Non-SDS.

Required Documents for SDS Category

  1. Proof of an IELTS test result, completed within 2 years of the date the SDS application was submitted with a score of overall score of 6.0 or higher in each module: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
  2. Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) of $10,000 CAD.
  3. Proof of full payment of tuition for the applicant’s first year of study (like payment confirmation receipt from DLI college or an official letter from the DLI confirming payment of tuition fees).
  4. Education Qualification Documents
  5. Final (Unconditional) Letter of acceptance from a DLI College in Canada.
  6. Proof of completion of upfront medical examination from a panel physician for the applicant.
  7. Application for Study Permit Made Outside Canada form [IMM 1294].
  8. Family Information form [IMM 5645].
  9. Schedule 1 – Application for a Temporary Resident Visa form [IMM 5257]
  10. Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) – (Only in the case of Quebec Province)
