REFUND POLICY OF SAULT COLLEGE

Applicants who have submitted a complete and legitimate study permit application to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and are refused the related study permit prior to commencing their studies at Sault College are eligible to apply for a full refund, less administrative fees of $400 and any related banking charges deducted during transmission. Such requests must include a copy of the relevant letter of refusal from the Canadian Embassy High Commission, or Consulate Visa Section. If you are withdrawing your application from college without any visa decision then the 2,500 non-refundable administration fee will be deducted by the college.

  1. Students who withdraw 30 calendar days prior to the course start date for any reason after paying the tuition fee are eligible to receive a 50% refund of the semester tuition, upgrading fees, and supplementary fees.
  2. Full refunds, less an administration fee, will be provided to students who do not receive their Canadian study permit. Students must notify Selkirk College in writing and provide the required documentation prior to the start of the semester (scanned, notarized copy of the original letter from the Canadian Embassy stating the reasons the visa was denied).
  3. International students who pay their tuition fee via wire transfer will receive their refund by wire transfer or other mechanisms that ensure prompt payment of the refund. The cost of the wire transfer will be deducted from the refund amount.

REFUND POLICY

All refund requests are subjected to deductions of the non-refundable portion of the tuition deposit and Administrative fee. If you’ve been denied a study permit/visa and are unable to attend Fleming College as a result, you’ll be refunded the full amount of your deposit. Where a student is found to have provided fraudulent documentation as part of their study permit/visa application, a full refund will not be issued.

So, for applying for a refund you must complete and submit an International Student Withdrawal Form. The Withdrawal Form must be filled to process your refund request further, you must submit your withdrawal request by the stipulated deadline in order to claim a fee refund.

  1. If you have received a Visa Denial, please follow these steps: Send your International Student Withdrawal Form, the Visa Denial Letter (issued by the Canadian embassy or consulate) and appropriate documents, receipt of all documentation, your withdrawal application will be processed to refund your fees paid, minus a $200 administrative charge.
  2. If you choose to withdraw from the college for any reason other than a Visa Denial, please follow these steps: The request much be sent to the college within 10 days of your semester, you must submit a completed Fleming College International Student Withdrawal Form, with the requested documentation to receive a refund of the tuition fees you paid. Your withdrawal must be approved by the Office of the Registrar upon receipt of all the appropriate documents at the Office of the Registrar, your withdrawal application will be processed to refund your fees paid, minus a $2,300 administrative charge.
