Associate of Science - General

The Associate of Science Degree in General Science at Columbia College offers a flexible, broad-based foundation in the sciences, allowing students to explore multiple disciplines without concentrating in one area. This 2-year program, equivalent to the first two years of a bachelor's degree, prepares students for university transfer to pursue a Bachelor's degree in General Science or related fields such as biology, chemistry, physics, or interdisciplinary sciences. Offered at the Main Campus in Vancouver, British Columbia, it is classified as a STEM field by IRCC, qualifying for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) upon completion. With a diverse student body from over 60 countries, the program promotes global perspectives in scientific inquiry.
