Business Human Resources

Sheridan College’s Business Human Resources program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to manage and develop an organization’s most valuable asset: its people. The curriculum covers key areas of human resources management, including recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, and labor relations. Students learn to apply HR best practices to attract, retain, and motivate employees, ensuring that the organization’s goals are met. The program also emphasizes communication, problem-solving, and ethical decision-making, preparing students to handle complex HR issues in a dynamic business environment. Graduates are well-prepared to pursue careers in human resources, talent management, and organizational development, or to continue their education in business administration or HR management.
