Program overview
The Graduate Transition Program (GTP) at Trinity Western University’s Langley campus in British Columbia is a 4 month English-language program an English-language transition program for incoming graduate students.
The four-month GTP builds the academic English, writing and study skills graduate coursework demands, designed for admitted students who need a supported runway before their master's program begins.
TWU teaches in small, professor-led classes on a 157-acre residential campus about 45 minutes from Vancouver, and is a provincially chartered member of Universities Canada — so the credential is fully recognised for employment and further study. Uniquely among Canadian universities, international students pay the same tuition as domestic students, and three intakes a year (September, January and May for many programs) keep start dates flexible.
Note: as a stand-alone English-language program, the GTP is not itself PGWP-eligible — post-study work eligibility comes from the degree program students progress into (final decisions rest with IRCC).

- TOEFL iBT: R-1.0, W-20.0, L-1.0, S-1.0, Total 78.0
- PTE: R-10, W-50, L-10, S-10, Overall 50
- Duolingo: 105
- GRE/GMAT: Not required.
Application fee $150 CAD. Tuition is charged per credit hour and is the same for international and domestic students.
