01Acceptance of these terms
Welcome to Apply Study Visa ("Apply Study Visa", "we", "us", "our"), a study-abroad admissions and immigration consultancy operating from Malerkotla, Punjab, India. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "the student", "the user") and Apply Study Visa.
By accessing our website, creating an account, submitting an enquiry, or engaging any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you are using our services on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind them to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
02Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to use our services and to submit study-abroad or visa applications through us. By using the platform you represent that the information you provide is true, accurate, complete and current.
03Our services
Apply Study Visa provides information, guidance and assistance relating to overseas education, including course and college shortlisting, application support, documentation, Statement of Purpose (SOP) assistance, education-loan and GIC facilitation, and study-visa filing guidance for destinations such as Canada, the United Kingdom and others.
- We aim to keep program details, fees and deadlines accurate, but we cannot guarantee that all information on the website is 100% accurate or up to date, as institutions and governments change requirements without notice.
- We work through direct institutional tie-ups and authorised third-party partners; the availability of a college on our platform does not constitute an endorsement of, or affiliation with, that institution beyond any stated partnership.
- Using our portal to apply to any college does not guarantee admission, and engaging our visa services does not guarantee the grant of a visa — these decisions rest solely with the institutions and government authorities concerned.
04No guarantee of admission or visa outcome
Admission and visa decisions are made entirely by colleges, universities and government immigration authorities based on their own criteria. Apply Study Visa prepares strong, honest applications and advises you to the best of our professional ability, but we do not and cannot promise admission, a visa grant, a scholarship, a specific processing time, or any particular outcome. Any success rates we quote are historical and indicative, not a guarantee of your individual result.
05Your account & responsibilities
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or security breach. You are responsible for the truth and completeness of all documents and information you submit for your applications; misrepresentation can lead to refusal, bans or legal consequences imposed by institutions or authorities, for which you are solely responsible.
06Fees & payments
Counselling and basic guidance are offered free of charge. Where a paid service applies, the fee, scope and any third-party charges will be communicated to you in writing before you pay. By making a payment you agree to the applicable service scope and to our Refund Policy.
- Third-party fees — application fees, tuition deposits, GIC deposits, visa/biometric fees, medical-exam fees and similar charges are set and collected by the institution or authority concerned. They are paid to those parties (directly or passed through) and are governed by their own terms, not ours.
- You are responsible for all bank charges, currency-conversion costs and taxes applicable to your payments.
- Official government and university payments should, wherever possible, be made by you directly to the official portal. Never pay anyone in cash for a "guaranteed" outcome.
07Intellectual property
All content on the platform — text, graphics, logos, the Apply Study Visa name and brand, software, the Maya AI assistant, program data and design — is owned by or licensed to Apply Study Visa and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, resell or distribute any part of it without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of documents you upload, and grant us a limited licence to use them solely to provide your services.
08Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose;
- submit false, forged or plagiarised documents or information;
- infringe the rights of, or defame, harass or abuse, any person;
- upload viruses or attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt or overload our systems;
- post unsolicited promotions, or harvest data or content from the platform.
09Third-party links & content
The platform may link to or rely on third-party websites, institutions, payment gateways and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, privacy practices or any dealings you have with them. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to that party's terms.
10Disclaimers
The platform and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apply Study Visa disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that information published is complete or current.
11Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apply Study Visa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for loss of admission, visa refusal, loss of fees paid to third parties, loss of opportunity, data or profits, arising from or relating to your use of the platform or services. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount of service fees you actually paid to Apply Study Visa (excluding third-party fees) for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
12Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Apply Study Visa, its directors, employees and partners from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misrepresentation, your submission of false documents, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform or services at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms, provide false information, or engage in conduct we reasonably consider harmful or unlawful. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) will continue to apply.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, the law or best practice. The "Last updated" date at the top will change accordingly, and material changes may be highlighted on the platform. Your continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to any non-waivable consumer rights, the courts at Malerkotla / Sangrur, Punjab, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or our services.
