The College Certificate - Geographic Information Science at Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Prince Albert campus is a 8 month college certificate building GIS technicians who turn location data into maps and decisions.

Students learn GIS software, spatial analysis, cartography, GPS data collection and remote-sensing fundamentals through project-based work on real datasets. Every resource company, municipality and utility in Saskatchewan runs on exactly this spatial capability.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic is the province of Saskatchewan’s public polytechnic, founded in 1959, with a graduate employment rate of about 96% — among the strongest in Canadian post-secondary education.
