College Diploma - Integrated Resource Management

The College Diploma - Integrated Resource Management at Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Prince Albert campus is a 2 year college diploma training resource technologists to manage forests, lands, water and wildlife.

Students combine field skills — surveying, sampling, species identification, GPS/GIS — with resource policy and land-management practice, learning outdoors in the boreal environment that surrounds the campus. The diploma is the recognised technician credential for Saskatchewan's resource agencies and companies.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic is the province of Saskatchewan’s public polytechnic, founded in 1959, with a graduate employment rate of about 96% — among the strongest in Canadian post-secondary education. The Prince Albert campus sits at the gateway to Saskatchewan’s north — the hub city for the province’s forestry, resource and northern health economies — offering small classes, close instructor attention and some of the lowest living costs of any Canadian campus city.
