BSc (Hons) Accounting with Business Management pairs a full accounting core — financial accounting, management accounting, taxation and financial management — with the management curriculum of organisational behaviour, operations, strategy and people management. The “with” structure means accounting leads: roughly two-thirds of credits sit on the numbers side, keeping professional-body exemption potential intact while adding the commercial vocabulary that pure accounting graduates often lack.

The design targets a specific career animal: the industry finance professional who will sit inside a business rather than a practice firm, translating between the ledger and the leadership team. Coursework reflects that — costing exercises attached to operational scenarios, budget presentations defended to non-financial audiences, and a final-year project that typically analyses a real company’s performance.
