Program overview

A four year honours degree in public health protection, covering food and water safety, environmental health law, communicable disease control, inspection practice and paid co-op terms, with applied practice running through the programme.

This asks 70 percent rather than 65, and it leads toward public health inspection, a recognised Canadian professional route.

Bachelor of Environmental Public Health (Honours) is taught at Conestoga College Doon campus, a public Ontario college on the post-secondary institution list. Because the environmental public health degree is a degree, it is exempt from the PGWP field of study requirement that applies to college level credentials. Conestoga records the environmental public health degree under CIP 51.2202. That exemption lets the environmental public health degree support a post-graduation work permit of up to three years whatever the subject. Ontario still requires a provincial attestation letter before the environmental public health degree can support a study permit application.

Entry to Bachelor of Environmental Public Health (Honours) is Grade 12 or equivalent at 70 percent or above. The English requirement is IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0, and tuition for the environmental public health degree is recorded at CAD 15,961. Conestoga charges a CAD 100 application fee, and no scholarship is recorded against the environmental public health degree. The environmental public health degree lists three entry windows across the annual intake cycle. Apply Study Visa manages your the environmental public health degree application, the deposit, the offer, the attestation letter and the Canadian study permit as one process.
