- Additional requirement: This is a TWO YEAR course at GBP 10,000 per year. Counselling accreditation through the BACP or UKCP requires supervised practice hours beyond the degree. An enhanced DBS check, occupational health clearance and immunisation records are required before placement, and these take longer to arrange from overseas than most applicants expect. London living costs and the UKVI maintenance requirement are both higher than for study elsewhere in Britain. Budget for the London figure rather than the national one.
