- Additional requirement: This course leads to Qualified Teacher Status. QTS routes require school placements and an enhanced DBS check, and they can carry eligibility conditions for international applicants that ordinary courses do not. Confirm your eligibility in writing before applying. London living costs and the UKVI maintenance requirement are both higher than for study elsewhere in Britain.
