Program overview
A fast track Ontario College Diploma covering legal terminology, document preparation, litigation and real estate procedures and law office software in a sixteen month schedule with placement.
The legal office fast track opens only in January 2028 here and is not on Mohawk’s PGWP list.
The fast track office administration legal diploma is taught at Mohawk College’s Fennell campus on the Hamilton Mountain, the main campus of a public Ontario college founded in 1966. The fast track office administration legal diploma does not appear on the PGWP list Mohawk published in February 2026, and IRCC has frozen the eligible list for the rest of 2026. Finishing the fast track office administration legal diploma therefore does not lead to a post-graduation work permit, so plan to leave Canada or change status when your study permit ends. Ontario also requires a provincial attestation letter before the fast track office administration legal diploma can support a study permit.
Entry to the fast track office administration legal diploma needs Grade 12 or equivalent at 50 percent or above. The English requirement is IELTS 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, and tuition for the fast track office administration legal diploma is recorded at CAD 24,285. Mohawk charges a CAD 100 application fee and asks for the full first semester of tuition before it issues the acceptance and attestation letters for the fast track office administration legal diploma. The fast track office administration legal diploma lists a single entry window, January 2028, so a missed deadline means waiting a full year. Apply Study Visa handles the application for the fast track office administration legal diploma, the first semester payment, the attestation letter and the Canadian study permit as one process.

Admission requirements
Who can apply (guide for international students):
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent, at the percentage stated for this programme.
- English (meet any one): IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5; TOEFL iBT 80 with no section minimum; PTE Academic 50 with no band below 43; or the Duolingo English Test at 105 with no band below 100.
- Application and payment: Mohawk charges a non-refundable CAD 100 application fee. Full first semester tuition must be paid before Mohawk issues the letter of acceptance and the provincial attestation letter. If your study permit is refused, Mohawk refunds tuition paid less a CAD 250 administrative fee, provided you apply within 60 days of the programme start date and upload the refusal letter.
- Scholarship: No entrance scholarship is recorded against this programme. Mohawk runs awards and bursaries for enrolled students, but they are competitive and not guaranteed, so budget the full tuition.
- Additional requirement: Fast track streams usually expect some prior post-secondary study. Confirm that your transcripts qualify before planning around the shorter timeline.
- Work rights: This programme is NOT on Mohawk’s PGWP list, so it does not lead to a post-graduation work permit. On-campus and limited off-campus work during study is still allowed on a valid study permit. No open work permit for a spouse or partner, since IRCC now limits those to master, doctoral and select professional programmes.
- Study permit: Apply Study Visa prepares the attestation letter request, the financial evidence and the Canadian study permit submission with you.
