A two year twinning programme pairing two Ontario College Graduate Certificates at Mohawk: Digital Health in year one, on health informatics and clinical systems, then Human Resources Management in year two, on recruitment, labour relations and HR practice.
The case for pairing Digital Health with Human Resources Management is that it adds a business credential to health informatics for roles on the management side of health systems. With Digital Health first and Human Resources Management second, this pairing starts in September only, since winter starts need cyber security or supply chain in year one.
Digital Health is on the PGWP list Mohawk published in February 2026, but Human Resources Management is not. IRCC only combines programmes when both are eligible, so the digital health and HR pairing cannot deliver the three year permit twinning is usually sold on, and because the final certificate is ineligible we treat it as not leading to a PGWP. Human Resources Management is also outside the seven certificates Mohawk names on its twinning page, so confirm the digital health and HR pairing is still offered before applying. A provincial attestation letter from Ontario is needed before the digital health and HR pairing can support a study permit.
Applicants to the digital health and HR pairing need an advanced diploma or degree in health, business, computer science or a related field, with 50 percent or above and IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0. Tuition for the digital health and HR pairing is recorded at CAD 17,540, so confirm whether that covers one year or both. Mohawk takes a CAD 100 application fee and the full first semester of tuition before issuing the acceptance and attestation letters for the digital health and HR pairing. The digital health and HR pairing lists two entry windows, both September starts, beginning in September 2027. Admission requirements
Who can apply (guide for international students):
- Education: An advanced diploma or degree in health, business, computer science or a related field, at the percentage stated for this programme.
- English (meet any one): IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0; TOEFL iBT 88 with no section minimum; PTE Academic 58 with no band below 51; or the Duolingo English Test at 115 with no band below 105.
- Application and payment: Mohawk charges a non-refundable CAD 100 application fee. Full first semester tuition must be paid before Mohawk issues the letter of acceptance and the provincial attestation letter. If your study permit is refused, Mohawk refunds tuition paid less a CAD 250 administrative fee, provided you apply within 60 days of the programme start date and upload the refusal letter.
- Scholarship: No entrance scholarship is recorded against this programme. Mohawk runs awards and bursaries for enrolled students, but they are competitive and not guaranteed, so budget the full tuition.
- Additional requirement: Year two (Human Resources Management) asks for a university degree or a three year college diploma, so check that your background suits both certificates, not only the first.
- Work rights: Human Resources Management is NOT on Mohawk’s PGWP list, so the two certificates cannot be combined for a three year permit, and the final credential does not lead to a PGWP. If a work permit matters to you, choose a pairing from Mohawk’s seven twinning certificates instead. No open work permit for a spouse or partner, since IRCC now limits those to master, doctoral and select professional programmes.
