By introducing Unreal Engine and other Virtual Production tools, the curriculum provides hands-on experience in preparing, modifying, and filming VFX assets in real-time. Artists are trained in both the artistic and technical aspects of quick problem-solving, teamwork, and collaboration, mirroring the fast-paced environment of real-world Virtual Production.<br><br>The program delves into the fundamentals of cinematography, data acquisition, match move, photography, and real-world lighting before transitioning into the 3D, virtual space. Advanced studies introduce 3D matte painting, a hybrid of 2D and 3D images for set extensions in both traditional VFX and VFX for Virtual Production.
