Program overview
The Massage Therapy (Compressed) advanced diploma at Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario prepares you for a rewarding career as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). In this compressed, intensive program you will study anatomy and physiology, pathology, massage techniques, assessment, treatment planning, and professional practice, combined with extensive hands-on clinical training in a supervised student clinic. The accelerated format lets you complete a comprehensive health credential efficiently while developing genuine clinical competence.
You will learn to assess clients, plan and deliver therapeutic massage treatments, support rehabilitation and pain management, and practise safely, ethically and professionally. The program is designed to prepare graduates to pursue registration as an RMT in Ontario, a regulated and respected health profession. International students gain valuable hands-on Canadian clinical experience and a health credential built around regulatory standards. Please note health programs may have additional requirements and a higher English level. If you are caring, hands-on and interested in a health career that directly improves people’s wellbeing, this compressed massage-therapy program offers an efficient and fulfilling route into practice.
