Graduate Certificate - eCommerce Performance and Optimization

The eCommerce Performance and Optimization graduate certificate is a one-year postgraduate program with a placement, focused on running and improving online retail operations.

Content covers e-commerce platforms and store architecture, product merchandising and catalogue management, conversion rate optimisation and A/B testing methodology, web and commerce analytics, paid acquisition across search and social, search engine optimisation for commerce, email and retention marketing, customer lifetime value and cohort analysis, fulfilment and returns operations, and pricing and promotion strategy.

The optimisation framing is what makes this credential commercially specific. Plenty of people can launch a store; far fewer can diagnose why conversion dropped, design a valid test and defend the result. That analytical capability is the difference between a coordinator role and one that owns revenue, and it is the explicit target of the program.

The work placement is a graded part of the program, so you finish with documented Canadian experience and a referee rather than only a transcript.

Humber Polytechnic — formerly Humber College — is Ontario’s largest public college and a Designated Learning Institution (DLI O19376943122).
