College Diploma - Fitness and Health Promotion (FAHP/FADJ)

The College Diploma - Fitness and Health Promotion (FAHP/FADJ) at Loyalist College's Belleville campus is a two-year college diploma that gives you a strong, career-focused education in this field.

You will learn to help people improve their health and fitness — anatomy and physiology, exercise prescription, strength and conditioning, nutrition fundamentals and health promotion — with practical training and opportunities to earn recognised fitness certifications. The program blends coaching, program design and hands-on experience. Graduates work as personal trainers, fitness instructors, and wellness and health-promotion workers in gyms, clinics, community and corporate settings.

Delivered with hands-on labs and placements at Loyalist College's Belleville campus in eastern Ontario. This program is on Loyalist's official PGWP-aligned programs list (CIP 31.0501), so graduates may qualify for a Post-Graduation Work Permit — the final decision always rests with IRCC.

Graduates are well placed for roles such as Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor, Health Promotion Worker and Wellness Coach, leaving with practical skills and real Canadian experience that employers value.
