Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science

Providence sits beside the Rat River, and for environmental science students that river becomes part of the classroom. The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science is a four-year BSc major taught on Providence’s residential campus in Otterburne, Manitoba, drawing on biology, chemistry and geology to show how people can become better stewards of the environment.

The first year lays groundwork in Introduction to Biology, Introduction to Chemistry and Introduction to Earth Sciences, and students need a C or better in Introduction to Biology I and II to declare the major.
