Program overview
The Bundle Program - Post-Graduate Certificate - Information Technology Project Management & Post-Graduate Certificate - Information Resources Management at Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Regina campus is a 8 month post-graduate certificate continuation from 8 month post-graduate certificate a two-in-one post-graduate bundle: IT Project Management followed by Information Resources Management.
One application admits you to both stacked certificates, extending your study into a longer combined pathway with broader skills and a longer program length for PGWP purposes. You complete the two credentials back to back at the Regina campus, graduating with both on your record. The program builds project-management methodology (agile and traditional), IT delivery practice, stakeholder management and the leadership skills to run technology projects end to end โ aligned with recognised PM certification pathways.
Saskatchewan Polytechnic is the province of Saskatchewan’s public polytechnic, founded in 1959, with a graduate employment rate of about 96% — among the strongest in Canadian post-secondary education. The Regina campus places students in the provincial capital — home to Saskatchewan’s government, insurance and financial head offices, and a busy construction and industrial economy — in one of Canada’s most affordable capital cities. Graduates who stay and work in Saskatchewan can also pursue the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) and the province’s Graduate Retention Program, which rebates up to $20,000 of tuition through tax credits.
This program is registered under CIP code 11.1099 (IT administration and management, other (lead credential)) and appears on Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s published list of PGWP-eligible international programs under the post-November-2024 field-of-study rules. Programs of two academic years support a PGWP of up to three years; shorter programs support a PGWP matching program length. Eligibility lists change — verify the current Sask Polytech PGWP list and IRCC policy before applying (final decisions rest with IRCC).

Career opportunities
Project coordination is technology's most transferable skill set:
- IT Project Coordinator — software and infrastructure projects
- Junior Project Manager — delivery teams across sectors
- Scrum Master / Agile Team Facilitator pathway — agile delivery roles
- Business Analyst — requirements and process work
- PMO Assistant — project-office governance roles
- CAPM/PMP Certification Pathway — credentialed PM careers
Every organisation runs technology projects โ and chronically under-staffs the people who can manage them.
