A four year route beginning with a foundation year in art and design, covering drawing, materials, visual research and portfolio development before progressing into a degree.

This is the only integrated foundation route in the Bath Spa catalogue, and it exists because art degrees normally expect a portfolio at application.

Integrated Foundation in Art and Design is taught at Bath Spa University, a public university in England with full degree awarding powers. Because the art and design foundation route is a degree, it supports an application under the UK Graduate Route, which gives two years of unsponsored work in Britain after you finish. No job offer or sponsor is needed for the art and design foundation route, but you must be inside the UK on a valid student visa when you apply. Your student visa covers the length of the art and design foundation route plus a short period afterwards.
