Bachelor of Arts - History, Politics and International Relations (Honours)

The triple-badged BA (Hons) History, Politics and International Relations lets students work across DMU’s full humanities-of-power range: political history, political theory and institutions, and the international system, with unusually wide option choice at each level and a final-year dissertation drawing the chosen thread together. Across the three years the course rotates its methods — archival and source-critical work from history, institutional and theoretical analysis from politics, systemic and strategic reasoning from IR — producing graduates practised in taking any complex question apart from multiple directions.
