Bachelor of Engineering - Mechatronics and Robotics (Honours)

BEng (Hons) Mechatronics and Robotics integrates the three engineering literacies the automation age runs on: mechanical design and dynamics, electronics and embedded control, and the software that binds them — taught through robotics platforms, sensor and actuator systems, industrial control, and automation engineering toward a final-year project that typically builds a working robotic or automated system.

Project-based integration defines the course rhythm — each level culminates in electromechanical builds of rising complexity, because mechatronics competence is precisely the ability to make the disciplines cooperate in one artefact — and DMU’s robotics and automation labs supply the platforms, controllers and instrumentation the build cycle demands.
