Executive Master of Business Administration is taught at the University of London Met, a public university in England with full degree awarding powers. Because the executive MBA is a degree, it supports an application under the UK Graduate Route, which gives two years of unsponsored work in Britain after you finish. No job offer or sponsor is needed for the executive MBA, but you must be inside the UK on a valid student visa when you apply. Your student visa covers the length of the executive MBA plus a short period afterwards. UK rules from January 2024 bar a dependant partner or child on taught courses, so the executive MBA does not support a family move.
Entry to Executive Master of Business Administration is a completed bachelor degree or equivalent at 60 percent or above. - Application and deposit: London Met charges NO application fee, so applying costs you nothing. Confirm the tuition deposit and its refundability in writing before any money is transferred.
- Scholarship: London Met applies an India Bright Futures Scholarship worth GBP 5,000 to eligible Indian students automatically, with no separate application form. You apply for the course as normal and the award appears on your offer if you qualify. Confirm the figure on that offer rather than assuming it, and check the eligibility conditions for your intake before budgeting around it.
- Additional requirement: London living costs and the UKVI maintenance requirement are both higher than for study elsewhere in Britain. Budget for the London figure rather than the national one.
- Work rights: the executive MBA is a degree, so it supports a UK Graduate Route application giving two years of unsponsored work after you finish. No dependant may accompany you on a taught course.
