Program overview
A postgraduate diploma covering the taught content of the international HR masters, including employment law across borders, talent and reward strategy and organisational development, but stopping short of the dissertation.
The fee is GBP 10,500 against GBP 20,500 for the full masters, so almost exactly half price, with the dissertation being what you forgo.
Postgraduate Diploma - Global Human Resource Management is taught at London Metropolitan University, a public university in the capital with full degree awarding powers. Note what the award is. A Postgraduate Diploma stops short of a full master degree, and post-study work eligibility in Britain generally requires a degree. A diploma at this level may fall outside that, which would leave the global human resource management diploma without the two years of unsponsored work a master degree earns. Put the question to the university and UKVI in writing before any money changes hands.
Entry to Postgraduate Diploma - Global Human Resource Management is a completed bachelor degree or equivalent at 60 percent or above. The English requirement is IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, and tuition for the global human resource management diploma is recorded at GBP 10,500. London Met charges no application fee, and London Met charges no application fee, and no scholarship is recorded against the global human resource management diploma . The global human resource management diploma lists two entry windows, the earliest in 2027. Apply Study Visa manages your the global human resource management diploma application, the deposit, the offer, the CAS and the UK student visa as one process.

Admission requirements
Who can apply (guide for international students):
- Education: A completed bachelor degree or equivalent, at the percentage stated.
- English (meet any one): IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5; TOEFL iBT 72 with reading 18, writing 17, speaking 20 and listening 17; PTE Academic 59 in every component; or the Duolingo English Test at 105, which London Met does accept.
- Application and deposit: London Met charges NO application fee, so applying costs you nothing. Confirm the tuition deposit and its refundability in writing before any money is transferred.
- Scholarship: The India Bright Futures Scholarship of GBP 5,000 does NOT apply to postgraduate certificates, postgraduate diplomas, pre-masters, foundation or short courses. Budget the full fee for this course, and ask the university directly whether any other award is open to you.
- Additional requirement: Confirm the Graduate Route position in writing before paying a deposit. CIPD accreditation is a separate question worth asking about. London living costs and the UKVI maintenance requirement are both higher than for study elsewhere in Britain. Budget for the London figure rather than the national one.
- Work rights: the global human resource management diploma awards a Certificate of Higher Education, which is NOT a degree. UK post-study work rights generally require a degree, so this course may carry none. Confirm with the university and UKVI in writing.
- Student visa: Apply Study Visa prepares the CAS request, the financial evidence and the UK student visa submission with you.
