This is the base version of the eleven MBA routes at this campus, and the right choice if you want breadth rather than a labelled specialism.
Master of Business Administration - Global Business Administration is taught at the University of Gloucestershire, a public university in England with full degree awarding powers. Because the general MBA is a degree, it supports an application under the UK Graduate Route, which gives two years of unsponsored work in Britain after you finish. No job offer or sponsor is needed for the general MBA, but you must be inside the UK on a valid student visa when you apply. Your student visa covers the length of the general MBA plus a short period afterwards. UK rules from January 2024 bar a dependant partner or child on taught courses, so the general MBA does not support a family move.
Applicants to Master of Business Administration - Global Business Administration need a completed bachelor degree or equivalent with a minimum of 62 percent. The English requirement is IELTS 6.0 with no band below 5.5, and tuition for the general MBA is recorded at GBP 19,055. Gloucestershire charges no application fee, and Gloucestershire charges no application fee, and an India Scholarship of GBP 4,000 to 5,000 may apply to the general MBA automatically. The general MBA lists four entry windows across September and January, the earliest in January 2027. Who can apply (guide for international students):
- Education: A completed bachelor degree or equivalent, at the percentage stated.
- English (meet any one): IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5; TOEFL iBT 80 with reading 20, writing 19, speaking 22 and listening 19; or PTE Academic 64. The Duolingo English Test is NOT accepted.
- Application and deposit: The University of Gloucestershire charges NO application fee, so applying costs you nothing. Confirm the tuition deposit and its refundability in writing before any money is transferred.
- Scholarship: Gloucestershire runs an India Scholarship worth GBP 4,000 to 5,000 for self-funded international students, awarded automatically with no separate application. A Global Scholarship of GBP 1,500 also applies, and merit awards run higher again. You cannot hold more than one university scholarship, so the India award is normally the one to pursue. Confirm the exact figure on your offer letter rather than assuming the maximum.
- Additional requirement: The Duolingo English Test is NOT accepted at this campus on any course. Plan for IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT or PTE Academic instead.
- Work rights: the general MBA is a degree, so it supports a UK Graduate Route application giving two years of unsponsored work after you finish. No dependant may accompany you on a taught course.
