St. Lawrence College’s Kingston campus is one of the more affordable routes into Ontario for Indian students, and one of the least written about honestly.
It runs 43 programmes open to international students, 40 of them asking just 50 percent, with the most common fee sitting at CAD 16,920. Kingston itself is a mid sized university city between Toronto and Ottawa, with a hospital network and research base that gives health and laboratory graduates somewhere real to work.
Thirty of the 43 programmes lead to a post-graduation work permit. Thirteen do not. That is a better ratio than most Ontario colleges we have examined, and the failures cluster tightly: business, advertising, office administration, policing, hairstyling and esthetics.
But St. Lawrence does something no other Ontario college in our research does, and it changes how you have to read their list. SLC publishes which campus each aligned programme runs at. Supply Chain Management is on their aligned list at CIP 52.0203 and it is listed at Cornwall, not Kingston. The Kingston offering is a different proposition entirely. No competing page mentions this.
There is one more thing you should know before reading any fee comparison. St. Lawrence’s aligned programme list is headed “June 25, 2025 Onward” and states the IRCC codes it relies on were last updated in July 2025 and were “expected to change in early 2026”. It is now well past that, and the page still carries the 2025 framing. Other Ontario colleges updated their equivalent lists in April 2026. Treat every CIP code here as needing verification against IRCC directly, not because the college is careless, but because the page may simply be a year behind.

3. The Campus Trap on the Aligned List
This is the detail that makes St. Lawrence different from every other Ontario college we have checked, and it is worth reading twice.
Programmes that do run at more than one campus include Computer Programming at Kingston and Cornwall, Computer Systems Technician at both, Early Childhood Education at both, and Personal Support Worker across all three. Confirm which campus appears on your offer letter, because campus forms part of how the programme is registered.

Only one programme at this campus carries a co-op work term, which is considerably fewer than at the larger Ontario colleges. If paid Canadian work experience during study is central to your plan, check that specific programme carefully.

- Your marks are around 50 percent and you want an accessible, affordable route.
- You want health, behavioural science, computing, engineering technology or trades, where nearly everything is aligned.
- You want a smaller, cheaper city with a strong hospital and university presence.
- You can apply six to nine months ahead of a September start.
- You are returning to India afterwards, in which case even the unaligned programmes are sound qualifications.
It does not suit you if
- You want business, advertising, office administration or policing and intend to stay in Canada.
- You need a January or May start. Only 11 and 3 programmes offer those.
- You are counting on co-op. Just one programme here has it.
- You need a spousal open work permit. No programme at this campus supports one.
- You want a large multicultural city. Kingston is mid sized and quieter than the GTA.
